I'm having problems setting up my VOLspeed V3 Bosch

If you are having difficulties with the installation please take a look this video guide first

Once you have installed the device (pages 3-6 in the manual) there are 2 stages to getting your device setup. It's best to have your display in kmh for this.

Stage 1 - Initial setup (page 7-8), press and hold your 'minus' button (3-5 seconds), release minus and press your 'plus' (3-5 seconds)

Following this combination you will see the following sequence

11.1kmh (10 seconds) --> 10.0kmh (5 seconds) --> 25.0kmh (5s) --> 0.0kmh

Do not press any buttons during at this stage

If your display does not follow this sequence check you have connected the device correctly. 

Stage 2 - Speed Mode (page 9-10)

Once you have completed the initial setup it's time to set your new max assistance speed. 

Press your 'minus' (3 seconds), you should see 32.0kmh appear on your display, use your 'plus' & 'minus' to change this value to your desired max speed. Once you have your desired speed, leave the display for 5 seconds to set. 

Each and every time you ride, you will need to press your 'minus' button for 3 seconds to activate the device, likewise press 'minus' again to deactivate it and 25.0kmh will appear on your display.
